@Mary: I got it almost two years ago. Hahaha. It’s on my hip, so I don’t pay attention to it much on a regular basis. I actually stood up the day after in class and showed it to my professor after finding out he was Turkish (the tattoo is in Turkish). It was sufficiently awkward, especially after I converted because I changed so much that year.
It’s sad how often I forget that I have a tattoo
I only see it (and by see it I mean recognize it’s there) a couple times a month.

Going to apply to AUC even though I wasn’t planning on studying abroad next spring. Figured I may as well. If I get accepted, I’ll hopefully be able to go, as long as I can figure out financial aid for it. If I get accepted, I’ll also plan on doing thesis research in Turkey next summer. :D
